The hotel was a super base for enjoying a fairly nice area, near to Hkkla volcano and Iceland. The twin room I stayed in was nice with a great view. I spent 1 night here and loved that.

The breakfast was delish and the views breathtaking! We loved the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a quick meal. But the hot water runs out fast, so catch it at the right time! 😊

The fine river views from the room were a highlight. The newly expanded breakfast area offered a good array of options, including local favorites that added a nice touch to the experience.

The rooms, while cozy, could use some maintenance-issues like broken blinds and smelly bathrooms were reported. Several guests mentioned the lack of sound insulation, meaning you could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms, which detracted from the overall peace. It was also noted that hot water ran out quickly and there were troubles with the cleanliness of the communal kitchen.

Loved the vibe and views, but the toilet flush was a bit weird.

The Riverfront Lodge Hella had a fine view of the river with charming mountains in the background. The room was cozy and warm, complete with a lovely shower. Breakfast was a good spread with local sourdough and fresh fruit provided by the friendly hosts.

A cozy spot along the Golden Circle route with fine river views! The staff kindly prepared an early breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The shared kitchen was useful, though it could use more upkeep.

Breakfast featured local sourdough and some fresh vegetables. The fridge produced an unsettling noise, requiring it to be turned off for peaceful sleep, and the breakfast lacked fresh bread alternatives.

This place has an amazing location near Hkkla volcano 🌋. the bed in our room with a view of the mountains was incredibly comfortable.

We were pleased with our room, as it had a roll-in shower, a cozy bed, and a private bathroom.
